Postcard
Postcard created to be delivered with checks. Instead of a traditional survey or generic postcard we wanted to engage and interact with the customer more in order to create a more memorable experience.
The front of the postcard contains a compendium at the bottom listing 32 nicknames for each of the restaurant's service staff members. Above the compendium is a corresponding series of 32 vintage ad cut style literal illustrations of those nicknames.
The back of the postcard features a MadLib style fill-in-the-blank word gam with text loosely grafted from an actual Civil War love letter. Certain verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc. have been removed so that guest may put their own in, or ask a fellow diner to do so blindly. The postcard can then be mailed to a friend. Certain blanks call for items eaten or drank during the course of the guests' visit.
