I love HALLOWEEN.  I also love GOGOL BORDELLO.  And when the two collide in ATLANTA, results never vary.

For one to even comprehend the genius insanity of their live performances, one must be witnessed in person.  Easily one of the better live bands I’ve ever seen, the Gypsy Punk Army will be rocking the Variety Playhouse this Friday night.

As an aside, I was reminded only recently that the lead singer, Eugene Hutz played Alex in EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED, the brilliant film translation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s acclaimed book of the same title.  Great character.
